WEB DESIGN FOR A GOLF COURSE

Bodø Golfpark is a spectacular 18-hole course located just outside the city center of Bodø, Norway. It is surrounded by sea, forest, and mountains, and offering the rare experience of playing golf under the midnight sun. This natural setting isn’t just beautiful, it’s a core part of what makes the course truly unique. With a blend of links and woodland styles, it attracts golfers from across the region and beyond, offering a game that’s as visually memorable as it is challenging.

The goal for this project was to design a digital experience that matched the uniqueness of the course itself - visually striking, highly functional, and easy to navigate for both members and visitors. The website features a detailed hole-by-hole course guide, complete with custom illustrations and drone-shot videos that give players a full sense of the layout before they even arrive. A Golfbox login, booking calendar, and news feed were integrated to ensure members can easily manage tee times and stay updated on events. The site also includes a blog, providing space for in-depth articles, updates, and community features.

Design-wise, the site is grounded in clarity and simplicity, allowing the landscape to take visual priority. A calm color palette, generous white space, and strong photography all work together to reflect the peaceful yet powerful nature of playing golf this far north. With both Norwegian and English versions, the site is built to welcome local players and international guests alike - capturing the essence of Bodø Golfpark as a destination that is truly unlike anywhere else.
